Getting started

How to save anything to Trove

Trove lives in the iPhone share sheet. Anything with a Share button, from a Reel to a recipe page to a screenshot, goes in with one tap. Here is the two-minute setup, and what Trove does with each save once it lands.

If this page is already in your Trove, your share sheet is set up. That save was the whole loop: share, tap Trove, keep scrolling. Everything below is what comes next.

Step one: pin Trove in the share sheet

You only do this once. iOS then shows Trove in the front row of every share sheet, so saving never means hunting through the More menu.

1

Open any share sheet

Tap Share on anything. In Safari it is the square with an arrow. Scroll the row of app icons all the way to the end and tap More.

2

Tap Edit

In the top right of the list, tap Edit. You will see every app that can receive a share, with Favorites at the top.

3

Add Trove to Favorites

Tap the green + next to Trove. Drag it to the top if you like, then tap Done. Trove now sits in the first row of every share sheet on your phone.

Step two: save from the apps you already use

Nothing changes about how you browse. When something is worth keeping, share it to Trove and go back to scrolling.

Faster ways to save

What happens after you save

Trove reads each save and pulls out the part you will actually want back. It takes about a minute, and you get a notification when the summary is ready.

Then ask for it

Once a few things are in, stop scrolling for them. Ask Trove in plain language: what to cook with the chicken in the fridge, which coffee shop you saved near your hotel, what that thread about negotiating rent said. Trove also catches dates on its own, so a pop-up that ends Friday gets a reminder on Thursday.

If a save shows Partial. A few sources restrict what apps can read, Instagram most often. Trove keeps retrying in the background for two weeks, and you can tap Retry on the save at any time. Private or age-gated posts will stay as a link you can open. Anything else that looks wrong, email [email protected].

Saving is unlimited and free. Reading and summarizing saves uses credits: every account starts with 100, and Pro is $2.99 a month after that. See Support for billing and account questions.
